Key Responsibilities
- Perform various massage techniques (e.g., Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports, Hot Stone, Reflexology) according to client needs and preferences.
- Conduct thorough client consultations to identify contraindications, assess specific areas of concern, and understand wellness goals.
- Develop and recommend personalized treatment plans to clients, ensuring a holistic approach to their well-being.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and tranquil treatment room, adhering to strict hygiene and sanitation protocols.
- Educate clients on post-treatment care, stretching, and self-care practices to maximize therapeutic benefits.
- Accurately document client information, treatment details, and progress notes in accordance with company policy and data protection regulations.
- Actively listen to client feedback and adjust treatments as necessary to ensure optimal client satisfaction and comfort.
- Collaborate with other wellness professionals within the team to provide integrated care when appropriate.
- Manage scheduling and appointments efficiently, ensuring timely service delivery and client flow.
- Maintain professional boundaries and uphold the highest standards of ethical conduct at all times.
Required Skills
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Massage Therapy.
- Proven experience delivering a range of massage modalities.
- Excellent knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and contraindications for massage.
