You will quickly become proficient in using hand and power tools, reading blueprints, and ensuring installations comply with industry standards and local codes. Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior technicians with the installation, configuration, and testing of various security systems including CCTV, access control, and intrusion detection.
- Run and pull cabling according to schematics and industry best practices.
- Mount and secure hardware components such as cameras, card readers, and control panels.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and diagnostic tests on new and existing security systems.
- Learn to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of installations, maintenance, and service calls.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies on job sites.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate progress to supervisors.
