Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage check-ins and check-outs efficiently.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and a positive attitude, ensuring timely resolution.
- Provide comprehensive information about hotel services, facilities, and local attractions in Downtown Frederick.
- Manage reservations, modifications, and cancellations accurately using the property management system.
- Process payments, maintain accurate guest accounts, and handle cash and credit card transactions responsibly.
- Maintain a tidy and welcoming front desk and lobby area.
- Collaborate effectively with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Assist with luggage handling and transportation arrangements as needed.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety standards, and security procedures.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably in hospitality.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a genuine desire to assist guests.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with computer systems and ability to quickly learn new software.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in hospitality a plus.
- Familiarity with property management systems (PMS) such as Opera, Fidelio, or similar.
- Knowledge of the Frederick, MD area and local attractions.
- Prior experience as a Front Desk Agent or Guest Service Representative.
