Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate a company vehicle to deliver goods to customers within Farsley, Leeds, and surrounding regions.
- Adhere to planned delivery schedules and routes, adjusting as needed for efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, ensuring they are in excellent working order.
- Load and unload packages carefully, ensuring their security and integrity during transit.
- Provide exceptional customer service, maintaining a positive and professional attitude during all interactions.
- Handle delivery documentation accurately and efficiently, including proof of delivery.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and management regarding any delivery challenges or delays.
- Comply with all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness and basic organization of the delivery vehicle.
Required Skills
- Valid UK Driving License with no more than 3 penalty points.
- Proven ability to navigate efficiently using GPS and local knowledge.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 25kg.
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to safety.
- Right to work in the UK.
