Key Responsibilities

  • Edit raw footage into polished, engaging video content that aligns with project objectives and brand guidelines.
  • Work closely with producers, directors, and clients to understand project scope, vision, and creative requirements.
  • Proficiently incorporate motion graphics, visual effects, and sound design to enhance storytelling and production value.
  • Ensure all final content adheres to technical specifications for various platforms (e.g., web, broadcast, social media).
  • Manage and organize media assets, project files, and backups efficiently within our existing workflows.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, editing software advancements, and creative techniques.
  • Provide creative input, suggestions, and solutions to enhance visual storytelling and overcome technical challenges.
  • Perform color correction, color grading, and audio mixing to achieve a professional and consistent final product.
  • Meet tight deadlines while consistently maintaining high-quality standards for all deliverables.
  • Collaborate with other team members in a fast-paced and creative environment.

Required Skills

  • Expert proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop.
  • Strong understanding of video formats, codecs, compression techniques, and aspect ratios.
  • Excellent sense of pacing, timing, visual storytelling, and narrative flow.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics and composition.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Fundamental knowledge of sound design principles, audio mixing, and mastering.
  • A demonstrable portfolio of diverse video editing work showcasing creative and technical skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Film Production, Media Arts, Broadcasting, or a related creative field.
  • Experience with additional editing software such as DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut Pro.
  • Knowledge of 3D animation software (e.g., Cinema 4D, Blender) is a plus.
  • Experience with green screen keying, compositing, and advanced visual effects.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and collaborative online platforms.
