This is an incredible opportunity for someone with no prior experience to step into the bustling world of construction and develop a specialized skill set. As a Scaffolder, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of construction sites by assembling, disassembling, and maintaining temporary structures that provide access to elevated work areas. You will work alongside experienced professionals, learning everything from blueprint reading and material handling to adherence to strict safety protocols and industry best practices. This role demands a strong work ethic, a commitment to safety, and a willingness to learn. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist experienced scaffolders in the safe and efficient erection and dismantling of scaffolding structures, adhering to all company and regulatory safety guidelines.
  • Learn to identify and select appropriate scaffolding components based on project requirements and instructions from supervisors.
  • Transport scaffolding materials, tools, and equipment around job sites.
  • Inspect scaffolding components for defects before use and report any damaged equipment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and materials are stored safely and correctly.
  • Actively participate in safety meetings and adhere strictly to all health and safety procedures, including wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Support the team with general construction labour duties as required.
  • Follow directions and instructions from site supervisors and senior scaffolders.
  • Continuously learn and apply new skills related to scaffolding techniques, safety, and equipment operation.

  • Excellent physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials.
  • Willingness to learn and take direction.
  • Reliable and punctual.
  • Basic understanding of construction site protocols (will be trained).

Preferred Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid G-Class Driver's License and reliable transportation to job sites.
  • First Aid/CPR certification (can be obtained during employment).
  • Working at Heights certification (can be obtained during employment).
