Job Description

Hiring.zycto is seeking a highly skilled and passionate Azure Cloud Engineer to join our growing remote team. As an integral part of our engineering group, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and managing robust, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure predominantly within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem. Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage secure, scalable, and highly available Azure cloud infrastructure solutions.
  • Automate provisioning and configuration of Azure resources using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions) for automated deployment and testing.
  • Monitor cloud environments for performance, cost optimization, security, and compliance, implementing proactive measures.
  • Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to ensure seamless integration and secure delivery of applications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to Azure services, networking, and security.
  • Implement and enforce security best practices, compliance standards, and governance policies within Azure.
  • Stay current with the latest Azure services, features, and industry trends, recommending appropriate technologies.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience with Microsoft Azure services (IaaS, PaaS, Networking, Security, Azure AD, Azure DevOps).
  • Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or ARM templates.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipeline implementation and management (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
  • Solid scripting skills (PowerShell, Azure CLI).
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Azure Kubernetes Service).
  • Deep understanding of Azure networking concepts (VNets, VPN Gateways, ExpressRoute, NSGs, Firewalls).
  • Experience with Azure monitoring and logging tools (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights).
  • Knowledge of cloud security principles and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) or Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305).
  • Experience with hybrid cloud environments.
  • Familiarity with other cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).
  • Experience with database technologies in Azure (e.g., Azure SQL Database, Cosmos DB).
  • Background in microservices architecture and serverless computing.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor team members.
