Key Responsibilities
- Participate actively in all provided training sessions and safety orientations.
- Learn and apply techniques for erecting structural steel, including beams, columns, and girders.
- Assist in the installation of reinforcing steel (rebar) in concrete forms.
- Understand and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings.
- Learn safe rigging and hoisting procedures for moving heavy steel components.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently under supervision.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies, procedures, and provincial regulations.
- Work collaboratively with other team members, supervisors, and tradespeople.
- Perform general labour duties as required to support site operations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Develop skills in welding, bolting, and connecting steel components.
