As a Drywall Installer Helper, you will work directly alongside experienced drywall professionals, learning the essential techniques and safety protocols of the trade. Your role is crucial in supporting the installation, repair, and finishing of drywall surfaces, ensuring high-quality results that meet exacting standards. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist lead drywall installers with the preparation and execution of drywall projects.
  • Help with the safe loading, unloading, and transportation of drywall sheets and materials.
  • Measure and cut drywall panels to specifications under supervision.
  • Assist in the installation of drywall sheets onto walls and ceilings.
  • Learn and assist with taping, mudding, and sanding drywall seams and surfaces.
  • Prepare work areas by covering floors, furniture, and other surfaces to prevent damage.
  • Clean up job sites daily, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained.
  • Follow all safety procedures and guidelines, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Support the team with various tasks as needed to ensure project completion.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and willingness to learn from experienced professionals.
