Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable and secure software solutions for health technology platforms.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define requirements and deliver high-quality features.
- Implement and maintain robust APIs for integration with various healthcare systems and third-party services.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations such as GDPR, HIPAA, and other relevant healthcare standards.
- Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our engineering practices.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Contribute to the documentation of technical specifications, designs, and API contracts.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, especially within HealthTech and remote development best practices.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Node.js, Go, C#)
- Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and serverless architectures.
- Solid understanding of relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB).
- Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of software development best practices, including testing, CI/CD, and version control (Git).
- Understanding of data security, privacy principles, and regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR).
