Key Responsibilities

  • Assist senior Freight Coordinators with daily operational tasks and administrative duties.
  • Prepare, check, and process necessary shipping documentation, including bills of lading, customs declarations, and manifests.
  • Track and trace shipments, providing updates to clients and internal teams as required.
  • Communicate effectively with carriers, agents, and clients to ensure timely pick-ups and deliveries.
  • Maintain accurate records and update the freight management system with relevant shipment information.
  • Assist in resolving minor shipping discrepancies, delays, or issues under supervision.
  • Learn and adhere to all relevant customs regulations, international trade laws, and company policies.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to inquiries and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Support the team in managing inventory and warehouse coordination where necessary.
  • Contribute to a positive and efficient work environment by actively participating in team meetings and training sessions.

Required Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
