Job Description
Hiring.zycto is seeking an experienced and dynamic Training Specialist to join our dedicated Corporate Learning & Development team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and delivering engaging training programs that enhance employee skills, foster professional growth, and support our strategic business objectives. You will be responsible for the full training lifecycle, from initial needs assessment and curriculum development to program implementation, evaluation, and continuous refinement. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough training needs assessments across various departments to identify skill gaps and development opportunities.
- Design, develop, and update engaging training content, materials, and modules, including presentations, workbooks, job aids, and e-learning courses.
- Deliver instructor-led training sessions (both in-person and virtual) to employees at all levels, ensuring an interactive and effective learning environment.
- Utilize a variety of instructional techniques and formats to accommodate diverse learning styles.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure accuracy and relevance of training content.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through surveys, assessments, and feedback, making data-driven recommendations for improvements.
- Manage and maintain learning management system (LMS) content, participant records, and training calendars.
- Stay current with adult learning theories, instructional design best practices, and industry trends.
- Support the development of new employee onboarding programs and ongoing professional development initiatives.
- Provide coaching and support to employees post-training to reinforce learning and application of new skills.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Training Specialist, Trainer, or similar role within a corporate environment.
- Strong understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning theories.
- Excellent presentation, facilitation, and public speaking skills.
- Proficiency in developing engaging training materials using various authoring tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate).
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) administration and content management.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to adapt training styles and content to diverse audiences and learning needs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Organizational Development, or a related field.
- Certification in instructional design, training and assessment, or a related area (e.g., CTP, CPTD).
- Experience with blended learning approaches and virtual training technologies.
