Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the full recruitment lifecycle, from requisition to onboarding, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of recruiters, fostering a high-performance and collaborative work environment.
  • Develop and implement strategic sourcing initiatives to attract top-tier talent across various industries.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their hiring needs and providing expert guidance on market trends.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions with clients and candidates, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Oversee candidate screening, interviewing, and selection processes, ensuring alignment with client requirements and company standards.
  • Monitor key recruitment metrics and KPIs, preparing reports and providing data-driven insights to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Stay current with industry best practices, labor laws, and recruitment technologies to ensure compliance and competitive advantage.
  • Participate in business development activities to expand client base and identify new talent pools.
  • Ensure all staffing activities adhere to company policies, ethical standards, and relevant legal regulations.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in full-cycle recruitment or staffing.
  • 2+ years of experience in a leadership or managerial role within a staffing agency or corporate HR department.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate a team of recruiters.
  • Proven track record of successful talent acquisition and client relationship management.
  • Strong understanding of various sourcing techniques and recruitment technologies (ATS, CRM).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Certification in Human Resources (e.g., CHRP, CHRL, SHRM-CP/SCP).
  • Experience with a specific Applicant Tracking System (e.g., Greenhouse, Workday, Taleo).
  • Familiarity with the Toronto job market and local industry trends.
