Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons across the elementary curriculum.
- Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of pupils.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love for learning.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, promoting respect, cooperation, and self-discipline.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and guardians to support student learning and well-being.
- Participate in school meetings, professional development, and extra-curricular activities.
- Safeguard and promote the welfare of all children in accordance with school policies and statutory requirements.
- Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the diverse needs of all pupils, including those with special educational needs.
Required Skills
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognized teaching qualification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong classroom management abilities
- Passion for elementary education and child development
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Understanding of the UK Primary National Curriculum
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a primary school setting, even if through teaching placements
- Knowledge of various educational technologies to enhance learning
- First Aid certification
