Key Responsibilities
- Design, plan, and conduct independent and collaborative oceanographic research projects, focusing on physical, chemical, biological, or geological aspects.
- Collect, process, and analyze oceanographic data using a variety of scientific instruments, remote sensing techniques, and computational models.
- Develop and implement innovative methodologies for data acquisition, quality control, and interpretation.
- Prepare and present research findings in high-impact peer-reviewed journals, conferences, and internal reports.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners on interdisciplinary projects, fostering a strong network of scientific exchange.
- Contribute to the development of grant proposals and secure funding for future research initiatives.
- Mentor junior researchers and students, contributing to their professional growth and the team's overall expertise.
- Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and ethical guidelines in fieldwork and laboratory settings.
- Maintain and calibrate specialized oceanographic equipment and instrumentation.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in oceanographic research methodologies and experimental design.

- Strong understanding of oceanographic principles (physical, chemical, biological, or geological).
- Experience with oceanographic field data collection, including instrument deployment and maintenance.
