Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior general contractors and tradespeople with various tasks on construction sites.
- Learn and apply fundamental construction techniques and safety practices.
- Handle and transport materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, including site clean-up and waste removal.
- Operate hand and power tools under supervision, adhering to all safety guidelines.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings.
- Participate in site meetings and contribute to problem-solving discussions.
- Observe and learn about project scheduling, budgeting, and quality control procedures.
- Adhere strictly to company policies, industry regulations, and local building codes.
- Complete tasks as assigned, demonstrating a proactive and diligent approach to learning.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong eagerness to learn and develop new skills in the construction trade.
- Excellent work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
