Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently load and unload freight, by hand or using appropriate equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks).
- Accurately sort, segregate, and stage freight according to destination, type, and customer specifications.
- Utilize scanning equipment to record incoming and outgoing freight, ensuring inventory accuracy.
- Inspect freight for damage and report any discrepancies or issues immediately to supervisors.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and according to established procedures (training provided).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering strictly to all company safety regulations and policies.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve operational goals and meet strict deadlines.
- Perform other general warehouse duties as assigned to support overall logistics operations.
Required Skills
- Ability to consistently lift and carry up to 50 lbs (23 kg) and perform repetitive physical tasks.
- Strong attention to detail for accurate freight handling, sorting, and scanning.
- Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic, especially for night shifts.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as a valued member of a team.
- Basic communication skills in English to understand instructions and report issues.
- A proactive commitment to workplace safety and following established procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience (6+ months) in a warehouse, logistics, or similar physically demanding environment.
- Valid certification for operating forklift (e.g., counterbalance, reach truck) or other material handling equipment.

- High school diploma or equivalent secondary education.
