Key Responsibilities

  • Warmly greet all guests upon arrival and assist with their luggage to and from their rooms.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, anticipating guest needs and responding to requests promptly and courteously.
  • Assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures as needed, ensuring a smooth transition.
  • Provide accurate information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions in Toronto.
  • Handle guest inquiries and resolve minor issues, or escalate complex problems to appropriate departments.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the lobby, front entrance, and luggage storage areas.
  • Help coordinate transportation for guests, including taxis, shuttles, or valet services.
  • Deliver messages, packages, and amenities to guest rooms efficiently.
  • Adhere to all hotel safety and security procedures.
  • Support other front office operations as required by management.

Required Skills

  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and welcoming demeanor
  • Ability to stand, walk, and lift/carry luggage (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
  • Reliable and punctual with a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in hospitality or tourism
  • Knowledge of the local Toronto area, including attractions, dining, and transportation
  • Fluency in additional languages (e.g., French, Mandarin, Spanish)
  • High school diploma or equivalent
