Your day will be fast-paced and varied, involving greeting guests with genuine warmth, assisting with luggage, and ensuring the safe and efficient parking and retrieval of their vehicles. You will navigate various vehicle types, from standard cars to luxury models, requiring a high degree of care, precision, and adherence to safety protocols. Beyond driving, you’ll be a local ambassador, providing directions, recommending attractions, and responding to guest inquiries with courtesy and professionalism. Maintaining a pristine front drive area and coordinating effectively with the hotel’s front desk and bell staff will be key to your success.

Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, open doors, and assist with luggage as needed.
- Safely and efficiently park and retrieve guest vehicles in designated areas.
- Inspect vehicles for pre-existing damage upon acceptance and document findings accurately.
- Maintain an organized and clean valet parking area, ensuring a professional appearance.
- Provide guests with directions, local information, and recommendations as requested.
- Coordinate vehicle movements and guest services seamlessly with front desk and bell staff.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
- Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and escalate as necessary.
- Operate vehicles of various makes and models, including those with manual transmissions.
- Maintain a friendly, professional, and composed demeanor, even during peak times.
Required Skills
- Valid G Class Driver's License (Ontario) with a clean driving abstract.
- Proficiency in driving both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
- Minimum of 1 year of professional driving or customer service experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to vehicle safety.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, run, and lift luggage for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous valet parking experience in a hotel or luxury setting.
- Familiarity with the Lower Don Lands and greater Toronto area.
- Experience with luxury and exotic vehicles.
- Fluency in additional languages is an asset.
