Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and processing of import and export documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and customs declarations.
- Learn to accurately input data into our logistics management systems and maintain organized records of all shipments.
- Support senior coordinators in tracking shipment statuses, coordinating with carriers, and updating stakeholders on delivery schedules.
- Communicate with customs brokers to ensure timely clearance of goods and resolve minor customs-related inquiries.
- Research and stay updated on international trade regulations, tariffs, and compliance requirements under supervision.
- Assist in responding to client inquiries regarding shipment status, documentation, and general logistics processes.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to deepen understanding of global supply chain operations.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives by identifying areas for efficiency and suggesting solutions.
