Key Responsibilities

  • Safely and efficiently collect various waste and recyclable materials from residential and commercial properties along designated routes.
  • Operate collection equipment, including compactor mechanisms and lifting devices, with strict adherence to safety protocols.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of collection vehicles and equipment, reporting any mechanical issues promptly.
  • Adhere to established routes, schedules, and timelines for waste collection.
  • Sort and separate materials as required, ensuring compliance with local recycling and disposal regulations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the vehicle cab and exterior.
  • Interact professionally and courteously with the public and team members.
  • Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and environmental regulations.
  • Assist with other duties as assigned to support overall waste management operations.
