Key Responsibilities
- Safely load and unload lumber and building materials from delivery trucks and customer vehicles.
- Organise and stock materials within the yard, ensuring proper labelling and easy access.
- Assist customers with material selection, measuring, and loading orders.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment in the lumber yard at all times.
- Operate basic yard equipment (e.g., hand trucks, pallet jacks) after receiving training.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and report discrepancies.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Work effectively as part of a team to meet daily operational goals.
- Assist with general yard maintenance and other duties as assigned.
