Key Responsibilities
- Perform accurate four-wheel alignment services on a variety of passenger vehicles and light trucks.
- Diagnose steering and suspension problems, identifying worn or damaged components.
- Utilize advanced alignment equipment and software to measure and adjust camber, caster, and toe angles.
- Conduct comprehensive road tests to verify the quality of work and ensure proper vehicle handling.
- Communicate effectively with service advisors regarding repair recommendations and estimated completion times.
- Document all services performed, parts used, and issues identified with precision and clarity.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring the proper care and calibration of tools and equipment.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and company procedures.
- Stay updated on new automotive technologies and alignment techniques through continuous learning.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Alignment Technician or similar role.
- Proficiency with modern alignment systems and diagnostic tools.
- Strong understanding of vehicle suspension and steering geometry.
- Ability to perform precise measurements and adjustments.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Automotive Service Technician (AST) certification (or equivalent provincial certification).
- Experience with multiple vehicle makes and models.
- ASE certification in Steering & Suspension (A4).
