Key Responsibilities

  • Perform accurate four-wheel alignment services on a variety of passenger vehicles and light trucks.
  • Diagnose steering and suspension problems, identifying worn or damaged components.
  • Utilize advanced alignment equipment and software to measure and adjust camber, caster, and toe angles.
  • Conduct comprehensive road tests to verify the quality of work and ensure proper vehicle handling.
  • Communicate effectively with service advisors regarding repair recommendations and estimated completion times.
  • Document all services performed, parts used, and issues identified with precision and clarity.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring the proper care and calibration of tools and equipment.
  • Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and company procedures.
  • Stay updated on new automotive technologies and alignment techniques through continuous learning.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Alignment Technician or similar role.
  • Proficiency with modern alignment systems and diagnostic tools.
  • Strong understanding of vehicle suspension and steering geometry.
  • Ability to perform precise measurements and adjustments.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Automotive Service Technician (AST) certification (or equivalent provincial certification).
  • Experience with multiple vehicle makes and models.
  • ASE certification in Steering & Suspension (A4).
  • Bilingual (English and French) is a strong asset.
