Key Responsibilities
- Assist certified Anesthesia Technicians in the preparation of anesthesia equipment and supplies for various surgical procedures.
- Learn and perform daily inspections of anesthesia machines and related monitoring equipment under supervision.
- Maintain appropriate inventory levels of anesthesia supplies, medications, and controlled substances.
- Clean, sterilize, and restock anesthesia workstations and equipment according to established protocols and safety guidelines.
- Support the Anesthesia team during procedures by anticipating needs and retrieving necessary items.
- Learn to troubleshoot basic equipment malfunctions and report issues to senior staff promptly.
- Ensure a clean, organized, and safe working environment within the operating room.
- Adhere strictly to infection control policies and procedures.
- Participate in ongoing training and educational sessions to enhance knowledge and skills.
- Assist with patient transport and positioning as directed by clinical staff.
