Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily feeding and watering of animals according to established schedules and dietary requirements.
- Clean and sanitize animal enclosures, common areas, and equipment to maintain a hygienic environment.
- Monitor animals for any signs of illness, injury, or behavioural changes and report observations to senior staff.
- Provide exercise, enrichment, and socialization to animals, ensuring their physical and mental well-being.
- Assist with basic grooming tasks, such as brushing and bathing, as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of animal care, feeding, and health observations.
- Restock supplies, including food, bedding, and cleaning materials.
- Assist veterinary staff or senior attendants with animal handling during examinations or procedures.
- Adhere strictly to all health and safety guidelines and animal welfare policies.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
