Key Responsibilities
- Participate actively and attentively in all provided training programs and safety orientations.
- Learn and perform pre-operational checks, routine maintenance, and cleaning of bulldozer equipment.
- Under direct supervision, operate bulldozers to perform tasks such as grading, leveling, spreading materials, and clearing land.
- Adhere strictly to all site safety regulations, company policies, and operational procedures.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, ground crew, and other team members regarding project progress and potential hazards.
- Monitor equipment performance and promptly report any malfunctions or required repairs.
- Assist with manual labor tasks on site as needed, supporting overall project objectives.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area around the equipment.
Required Skills
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn heavy machinery operation.
- Excellent spatial awareness and hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Commitment to working safely and adhering to all safety protocols.
- Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions and challenging terrains.
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites in the Binbrook, Hamilton area.
- Valid G-class driver's license with a clean driving record.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
