Job Description

As a vital member of our production team, you will be instrumental in supporting various stages of the cannabis lifecycle, from cloning and vegetative growth to flowering, harvesting, and post-harvest processing. This role is physically demanding and requires consistent attention to detail to ensure the highest standards of quality, compliance, and efficiency are maintained at all times. Key Responsibilities
- Perform various cultivation tasks including watering, feeding, transplanting, pruning, trellising, and defoliation of cannabis plants under supervision.
- Assist with harvesting procedures, including bucking, trimming, and processing plant material according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Prepare growing media, pots, and other cultivation equipment as required.
- Maintain strict adherence to sanitation protocols by cleaning and sterilizing grow rooms, equipment, and tools regularly.
- Accurately weigh, package, and label finished cannabis products for inventory and distribution.
- Monitor environmental conditions in cultivation areas and report any deviations or concerns to senior staff.
- Assist with inventory management, including tracking plant counts, materials, and finished product.
- Follow all health, safety, and security procedures, as well as Good Production Practices (GPP) and Cannabis Act regulations.
- Operate basic hand tools and specialized equipment safely and efficiently.
- Contribute to a positive and productive team environment by demonstrating strong communication and collaboration skills.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately.
- Excellent work ethic and reliability, with a commitment to punctuality and attendance.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for measuring and counting.
- Must be 19 years of age or older (as per cannabis regulations).
- Ability to pass a criminal record check as required by Health Canada regulations.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in agriculture, horticulture, or a production environment.
- Familiarity with cannabis plants or the cannabis industry.
- Experience working in a regulated or controlled environment.
- First Aid certification.
