Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Catering Managers with event planning, coordination, and execution from start to finish.
  • Learn and apply best practices for client communication, understanding needs, and building rapport.
  • Shadow and support in managing event logistics, including scheduling, inventory, and equipment setup.
  • Participate in menu development and food tasting sessions, understanding culinary trends and client preferences.
  • Observe and contribute to staff supervision, training, and performance evaluation during events.
  • Assist with budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting for catering events.
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and hygiene standards in all catering operations.
  • Help manage vendor relationships and procurement of supplies.
  • Support post-event activities, including breakdown, clean-up, and client follow-up.
  • Actively seek feedback and opportunities for personal and professional growth.
