Key Responsibilities
- Assist Catering Managers with event planning, coordination, and execution from start to finish.
- Learn and apply best practices for client communication, understanding needs, and building rapport.
- Shadow and support in managing event logistics, including scheduling, inventory, and equipment setup.
- Participate in menu development and food tasting sessions, understanding culinary trends and client preferences.
- Observe and contribute to staff supervision, training, and performance evaluation during events.
- Assist with budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting for catering events.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and hygiene standards in all catering operations.
- Help manage vendor relationships and procurement of supplies.
- Support post-event activities, including breakdown, clean-up, and client follow-up.
