Key Responsibilities

  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe community environment within the assigned residential area.
  • Serve as a primary resource and mentor for residents, offering guidance and support on academic, personal, and social matters.
  • Plan and implement engaging social, educational, and developmental programs for residents.
  • Enforce residential policies and procedures, ensuring a fair and consistent living experience for all.
  • Respond to student concerns, conflicts, and emergencies, escalating issues to professional staff when necessary.
  • Conduct regular rounds and check-ins within the residential area to maintain safety and address facility concerns.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development sessions to enhance leadership and advising skills.
  • Complete administrative tasks, including incident reports, room checks, and occupancy records.
  • Collaborate with campus partners, including counseling services, security, and academic advisors.

Required Skills

  • Currently enrolled as a full-time student at a college or university.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
