Key Responsibilities
- Participate in all stages of spirit production, including mashing, fermentation, distillation, and barrel management.
- Assist with bottling, packaging, and labeling operations, ensuring adherence to quality standards and production schedules.
- Learn and apply quality control procedures, including sensory evaluation, laboratory testing, and record-keeping.
- Support inventory management for raw materials, finished goods, and packaging supplies.
- Understand and comply with all health, safety, and environmental regulations relevant to distillery operations.
- Shadow and assist senior management in daily operational tasks, team supervision, and problem-solving.
- Engage with distillery visitors and customers, providing tours, tastings, and educational experiences with exceptional hospitality.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient production environment.
- Assist in data collection and reporting for production metrics, sales, and inventory.
- Actively participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities.
Required Skills
- Demonstrated passion for the spirits industry and an eagerness to learn.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.

- Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to operate equipment safely.

- Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Fermentation Science, Chemistry, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- Previous experience (1+ years) in a distillery, brewery, winery, or food and beverage manufacturing environment.
- Experience in a customer-facing role within the hospitality sector.
- Knowledge of TTB (Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau) regulations and provincial liquor laws.
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain one.
