Key Responsibilities
- Learn and apply techniques for measuring, cutting, and installing drywall sheets.
- Fasten drywall panels to metal or wood studs using screws or nails.
- Apply joint compound (mud) to seams and screw holes.
- Embed tape in joint compound and smooth out surfaces.
- Sand finished surfaces to achieve a smooth, ready-to-paint finish.
- Assist with material handling, site clean-up, and general labour tasks.
- Adhere strictly to all site safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials (e.g., drywall sheets).
