Job Description
Hiring.zycto is actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced Solutions Architect to join our innovative, fully remote team. As a Solutions Architect, you will play a pivotal role in designing robust, scalable, and secure technology solutions that meet our clients’ complex business requirements. You will be the bridge between business needs and technical execution, articulating sophisticated concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Your day-to-day will involve evaluating existing systems, recommending optimal solutions leveraging cloud technologies, microservices, and modern architectural patterns, and ensuring alignment with industry best practices and security standards. Key Responsibilities
- Design and architect scalable, secure, and high-performing technical solutions in alignment with business objectives and IT strategy.
- Lead technical discovery sessions, gather requirements, and translate them into detailed architectural designs and specifications.
- Evaluate existing client infrastructures and recommend strategic improvements, technology selections, and modernization roadmaps.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development and implementation teams throughout the project lifecycle, from conception to deployment.
- Collaborate with project managers, product owners, and stakeholders to ensure proposed solutions meet functional and non-functional requirements.
- Develop proofs-of-concept and prototypes to validate architectural choices and demonstrate technical feasibility.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices to continually enhance our solution offerings.
Required Skills
- 8+ years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years in an Architect role (Solutions, Enterprise, or Technical).
- Proven expertise in designing and implementing complex, distributed systems leveraging cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Strong understanding of architectural patterns (microservices, event-driven, serverless) and design principles.
- Proficiency in at least one major programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C#, Node.js) and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Experience with database technologies (relational and NoSQL) and data integration strategies.
- Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and secure coding practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
- Experience with DevOps methodologies and automation tools.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Prior experience working in a fully remote or hybrid work model.
