Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to emergency calls and provide immediate medical assistance.
- Assess patient conditions, determine the nature and extent of injury or illness.
- Administer basic life support (BLS) including CPR, bandaging, and splinting.
- Operate and maintain emergency medical equipment and supplies.
- Safely transport patients to medical facilities while continuously monitoring their condition.
- Document patient care activities and observations accurately and thoroughly.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Adhere to all medical protocols, safety regulations, and ethical standards.
Required Skills
- Valid EMT certification (or pending completion) as per local regulations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
- Physical fitness and stamina to perform demanding tasks.
- Valid UK Driving License with a clean record.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a healthcare or public safety volunteer role.
