Key Responsibilities

  • Define, communicate, and evolve the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for fintech products.
  • Conduct thorough market research, competitive analysis, and customer feedback analysis to identify opportunities and unmet needs.
  • Translate high-level concepts into detailed product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Prioritize features and initiatives based on business value, technical feasibility, and strategic alignment.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, design, data science, and marketing teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Oversee the execution of product launches, ensuring seamless delivery and user adoption.
  • Monitor product performance, analyze key metrics, and iterate on products to drive continuous improvement and achieve business objectives.
  • Stay abreast of fintech trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies to inform product strategy.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate product updates and challenges effectively.
  • Advocate for the user, ensuring product designs are intuitive, engaging, and solve real-world problems.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in product management, with a minimum of 3 years specifically in the fintech domain.
  • Proven track record of defining and launching successful software products, particularly in financial services.
  • Strong understanding of financial products, markets, regulations, and industry trends.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Proficiency in agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • MBA or Master's degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Experience with payment systems, lending platforms, investment tools, or blockchain technologies.
  • Familiarity with UX/UI principles and design thinking methodologies.
