Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Funeral Directors and other staff with all aspects of funeral arrangements and services.
  • Prepare and maintain the funeral home premises, ensuring cleanliness, orderliness, and a respectful atmosphere.
  • Greet and assist bereaved families and visitors with sensitivity and professionalism.
  • Answer phones, manage inquiries, and provide accurate information to families and external parties.
  • Process necessary paperwork, manage funeral requisites, and assist with administrative tasks.
  • Support with the dignified transportation and preparation of the deceased.
  • Help with setting up and dismantling chapels, viewing rooms, and service areas.
  • Maintain inventory of supplies and report needs to management.
  • Operate and maintain funeral home vehicles as required (training provided).
  • Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality, discretion, and ethical conduct at all times.

  • Exceptional empathy and compassion for individuals experiencing grief.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Impeccable attention to detail and organizational abilities.
