Job Description
Hiring.zycto is seeking a highly experienced and visionary Head of Sustainability – Corporate to lead our ambitious sustainability agenda. Based at our Calgary office, this pivotal role will be instrumental in defining, developing, and implementing a comprehensive corporate sustainability strategy that aligns with our business objectives and global environmental, social, and governance (ESG) commitments. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of sustainability frameworks, regulatory landscapes, and best practices across various industries.
You will be responsible for driving sustainable change throughout the organization, from supply chain optimization and operational efficiency to stakeholder engagement and transparent reporting. This involves collaborating closely with executive leadership, department heads, and external partners to integrate sustainability principles into all facets of our business. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage Hiring.zycto's corporate sustainability strategy, aligning with business goals and ESG commitments.
- Lead the identification, assessment, and mitigation of environmental, social, and governance risks and opportunities.
- Drive the integration of sustainability principles across all business functions, including operations, supply chain, and product development.
- Oversee the preparation and publication of annual sustainability reports, ensuring compliance with leading reporting frameworks (e.g., GRI, SASB, TCFD).
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including investors, customers, employees, and regulatory bodies, on sustainability matters.
- Monitor and analyze global sustainability trends, regulations, and best practices to inform strategic decision-making.
- Manage corporate ESG ratings and disclosures, aiming for continuous improvement.
- Champion internal sustainability initiatives, fostering a culture of environmental stewardship and social responsibility.
- Identify and evaluate innovative technologies and solutions to enhance environmental performance and resource efficiency.
- Provide expert guidance and leadership on all sustainability-related projects and initiatives.
Required Skills
- Proven leadership in corporate sustainability, ESG, or environmental management.
- Deep expertise in sustainability frameworks (GRI, SASB, TCFD), reporting standards, and regulatory landscapes.
