Key Responsibilities

  • Participate actively in all aspects of the provided Heavy Equipment Operator training program.
  • Learn and apply safe operating procedures for various heavy machinery, adhering strictly to company and industry safety protocols.
  • Assist experienced operators in tasks such as excavation, grading, loading, and material transport.
  • Perform daily pre-operation checks, maintenance, and cleaning of equipment as instructed.
  • Understand and follow site plans, grade stakes, and project specifications.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and other site personnel.
  • Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or incidents promptly.
  • Demonstrate a proactive approach to learning and skill development.

Required Skills

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License (or equivalent) with a clean driving abstract.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to comprehend and follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Excellent spatial awareness and hand-eye coordination.
  • Commitment to safety and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
