Key Responsibilities
- Participate actively in all aspects of the provided Heavy Equipment Operator training program.
- Learn and apply safe operating procedures for various heavy machinery, adhering strictly to company and industry safety protocols.
- Assist experienced operators in tasks such as excavation, grading, loading, and material transport.
- Perform daily pre-operation checks, maintenance, and cleaning of equipment as instructed.
- Understand and follow site plans, grade stakes, and project specifications.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and other site personnel.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Report any equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or incidents promptly.
- Demonstrate a proactive approach to learning and skill development.
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License (or equivalent) with a clean driving abstract.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
