Hiring.zycto is seeking a dedicated and meticulous Housekeeper to join our hotel team in the vibrant Oakwood-Vaughan area of Toronto. As a Housekeeper, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming, comfortable, and impeccably clean environment for our guests. Key Responsibilities
- Clean and service assigned guest rooms daily according to company standards, including making beds, dusting furniture, vacuuming carpets, mopping floors, and cleaning bathrooms.
- Replenish guest room supplies such as toiletries, towels, and stationery.
- Handle and store cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and efficiently, following all safety protocols.
- Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damaged items found in guest rooms or common areas promptly to the supervisor.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of linen closets, supply carts, and other storage areas.
- Assist with deep cleaning projects and public area cleaning as needed.
- Adhere to all hotel policies and procedures, including those pertaining to guest privacy and security.
- Provide exceptional guest service by responding to guest requests and inquiries in a friendly and professional manner.
Required Skills
- Proven ability to clean various surfaces and areas to a high standard.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good time management skills to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks, lift, push, and pull equipment.
- Basic understanding of cleaning agents and their safe application.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Housekeeper in a hotel or similar hospitality setting.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a hotel environment.
- Ability to speak multiple languages is an asset.
