As an Inventory Associate, you will be the backbone of our nightly operations, ensuring that all products are accounted for, stored correctly, and ready for dispatch. You’ll play a pivotal role in minimizing discrepancies, optimizing warehouse flow, and contributing significantly to our overall operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities
- Perform accurate counting, receiving, and stocking of inventory items during the night shift.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to ensure accuracy between physical stock and system records.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely, such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified), to move and organize inventory.
- Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies, reporting issues to the Inventory Control Lead.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment within the warehouse at all times.
- Assist with loading and unloading shipments as needed.
- Input and update inventory data into the warehouse management system (WMS) accurately and efficiently.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety regulations, and standard operating procedures.
Required Skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing, walking, bending, and reaching for extended periods.
- Basic computer proficiency for data entry and WMS interaction.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliability and punctuality for night shift operations.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience (1+ year) in a warehouse, logistics, or inventory control role.
- Forklift certification and experience operating powered industrial trucks.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory software.
- Experience working in a night shift environment.
