Key Responsibilities
- Accurately shelve books, periodicals, and other library materials according to their classification (e.g., Dewey Decimal System).
- Maintain the neatness and order of shelves, ensuring materials are in their correct locations and accessible.
- Assist library patrons with locating books and other resources.
- Process new materials, including stamping and labelling.
- Help with general tidying and organisation of library spaces, including reading areas and computer stations.
- Retrieve materials from returns and prepare them for re-shelving.
- Perform light clerical duties as assigned by senior library staff.
- Adhere to all library policies and procedures, especially regarding patron privacy and material handling.

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
