Key Responsibilities

  • Learn to safely operate asphalt paving machines, rollers, and other heavy equipment under supervision.
  • Perform pre-operation and post-operation checks and basic maintenance on equipment.
  • Adhere strictly to all safety regulations, company policies, and provincial guidelines.
  • Monitor asphalt levels and machine performance, making adjustments as needed for precise paving.
  • Work collaboratively with ground crews, foremen, and other team members to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Assist with site preparation, cleanup, and other construction-related tasks as required.
  • Ensure the quality and uniformity of asphalt application and compaction.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the supervisor promptly.
