Job Description
Hiring.zycto is seeking a passionate and highly skilled Certified Pilates Instructor to join our dynamic team in the heart of Queen Street West, Toronto. We are a premier Pilates studio dedicated to delivering exceptional instruction and creating a transformative experience for our diverse clientele. As a Pilates Instructor with Hiring.zycto, you will be instrumental in guiding clients through personalized and group Pilates sessions, utilizing both mat and reformer equipment, along with various props. Your role will involve assessing client needs, developing tailored programs, and ensuring a safe, effective, and engaging workout environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and lead engaging and effective Pilates sessions, both private and group, tailored to client goals and abilities.
- Perform client assessments to understand fitness levels, medical history, and specific needs.
- Provide clear, concise, and safe instruction on proper form and technique for all Pilates exercises.
- Utilize and maintain studio equipment (reformers, Cadillac, chairs, barrels, mats, props) ensuring safety and cleanliness.
- Develop and progress client programs, ensuring continuous challenge and adaptation.
- Educate clients on the benefits of Pilates, anatomy, and body mechanics.
- Maintain a professional, energetic, and positive demeanor in all client interactions.
- Manage scheduling and client communications efficiently.
- Actively participate in studio meetings, training sessions, and promotional events.
- Adhere to all studio policies, procedures, and health & safety regulations.
Required Skills
- Comprehensive Pilates certification (e.g., Stott, Balanced Body, Polestar, BASI)
- Minimum of 2 years of practical experience teaching Pilates (mat and reformer)
- Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt instruction to various client needs, including prenatal/postnatal and injury rehabilitation
- First Aid and CPR certification (current or willing to obtain)
- Proficiency in client management and scheduling software
Preferred Qualifications
- Specialized certifications (e.g., pre/postnatal Pilates, active aging, specific injury protocols)
- Experience with other movement modalities (e.g., yoga, barre, personal training)
- Client base building and retention skills
- Degree in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, or a related field
