Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) and trends.
  • Connect to various data sources (SQL databases, Excel, cloud services) and perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
  • Develop and optimize data models in Power BI Desktop, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and deliver tailored analytical solutions.
  • Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive strategic business decisions.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all reports and dashboards.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI tools and data interpretation.

Required Skills

  • Proven expertise in Microsoft Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service, including DAX, M-query, and data visualization best practices.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL for data querying, manipulation, and database management.
  • Experience with data modeling, star/snowflake schemas, and data warehousing concepts.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to communicate complex data insights clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Experience with other BI tools (e.g., Tableau, QlikView) or data platforms (e.g., Azure Synapse, AWS Redshift).
  • Familiarity with Python or R for data analysis and scripting.
  • Experience with data governance and security best practices in Power BI.
  • Microsoft Power BI certification (e.g., DA-100/PL-300).
