Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, unpack, and process incoming merchandise shipments accurately and efficiently.
  • Organize and maintain the stockroom, ensuring it is clean, tidy, and logically arranged for easy access.
  • Replenish sales floor inventory from the stockroom, ensuring products are displayed according to merchandising guidelines.
  • Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and stock audits to maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Identify and report discrepancies, damaged goods, or expired products to management.
  • Prepare merchandise for transfer or return to vendors, adhering to company procedures.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Provide support to the sales team as needed, assisting customers with product inquiries or locating items.

Required Skills

  • Ability to lift and move heavy boxes (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in tasks.
  • Basic computer proficiency for inventory tracking systems.
