Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Spa Manager in the daily operations, including scheduling, inventory management, and facility maintenance.
- Learn and implement best practices for client relations, ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction and loyalty.
- Support the recruitment, training, and supervision of spa staff, fostering a positive and motivating work environment.
- Contribute to the development and execution of marketing strategies and promotional activities to drive revenue.
- Monitor and manage spa supplies, ensuring optimal stock levels and cost-effective purchasing.
- Handle client inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally and efficiently.
- Assist in maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety within the spa.
- Gain proficiency in spa software systems for booking, point-of-sale, and reporting.
- Participate in financial reporting and analysis, understanding budget management and revenue generation.
- Attend regular training sessions and workshops to enhance management and industry knowledge.
Required Skills
- Proven customer service experience, preferably in a hospitality or retail setting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Demonstrated enthusiasm for the spa and wellness industry.
Preferred Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field.
- Previous experience in a spa, salon, or wellness center.
- Familiarity with spa management software.
- Bilingualism (English and French or other relevant languages).
- First Aid and CPR certification.
