Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and process incoming merchandise shipments accurately and efficiently.
- Verify quantities against invoices and identify any discrepancies or damaged goods.
- Organize and store inventory in the stockroom according to established procedures.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized stockroom and receiving area at all times.
- Replenish sales floor with merchandise from the stockroom as needed to ensure product availability.
- Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and stock rotation to minimize loss and optimize freshness.
- Prepare merchandise for display, including ticketing, sizing, and security tagging.
- Collaborate with sales associates and management to support sales floor activities and special promotions.
- Operate equipment such as hand trucks or pallet jacks safely and responsibly (if applicable).
- Adhere to all company policies, safety standards, and loss prevention procedures.
Required Skills
- Proven ability to lift and move heavy merchandise (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with an eye for detail.
