Key Responsibilities
- Execute pre-planned lesson materials and instructional activities provided by the absent teacher.
- Maintain a safe, orderly, and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Manage student behavior effectively and uphold school policies and procedures.
- Ensure the well-being and supervision of all students in your care.
- Communicate promptly and clearly with school administration regarding any issues or concerns.
- Provide a summary of the day's activities and any pertinent observations for the returning teacher.
- Adhere to professional standards and ethical conduct in all interactions.
Required Skills
- Valid BC Teaching Certificate (or eligible for certification)
