Key Responsibilities
- Assist Surveyors and Technicians in setting up, operating, and maintaining survey equipment (GPS, Total Stations, levels).
- Carry and set up survey equipment and supplies to various job sites, often in varying terrain and weather conditions.
- Clear brush and obstacles to ensure clear lines of sight for survey measurements.
- Place stakes, pins, and markers according to instructions and project plans.
- Participate in the collection of field data, including taking measurements and recording observations.
- Ensure strict adherence to all company and site-specific safety protocols and procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of survey vehicles, tools, and equipment.
- Communicate effectively with team members and follow directions accurately.
- Perform basic administrative tasks and data entry as required.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to comprehend and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors for extended periods.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to various work environments.
- Basic problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Valid G-class driver's license with a clean driving record.
