Job Description

Are you passionate about live events and creating unforgettable experiences for thousands? Do you thrive in a high-energy environment where every day brings new excitement? Hiring.zycto is seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Stadium Ushers, operating within the vibrant event landscape around the Hospital District of Toronto. This is your chance to be at the heart of major sporting events, electrifying concerts, and captivating family shows, playing a pivotal role in ensuring every guest enjoys a safe, seamless, and truly memorable visit.

As a Stadium Usher, you are the face of the venue, the first point of contact for many attendees, and a crucial component of our operational success. Your primary responsibility will be to welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, assist them in locating their assigned seats, and provide general information about the venue, facilities, and ongoing events. Beyond direct guest assistance, you will be instrumental in maintaining a safe and orderly environment. This involves monitoring assigned sections for any potential hazards, enforcing venue policies respectfully, and proactively addressing any issues that may arise, from spilled drinks to lost items or unauthorized access. You’ll be trained on proper emergency evacuation procedures and will be expected to guide patrons calmly and efficiently during ingress and egress, manage crowd flow during peak times, and be prepared to act swiftly and calmly in any unforeseen circumstances, coordinating seamlessly with security, medical personnel, and event management teams as needed. Your vigilance helps ensure everyone’s safety and comfort.

Beyond the practical aspects, a great Usher anticipates needs and goes the extra mile. You might be helping a family with young children find the nearest washroom, assisting an elderly guest with mobility challenges, or simply answering questions about merchandise or food options. Every interaction is an opportunity to enhance the guest journey. You’ll be an ambassador for both Hiring.zycto and the venue, embodying a spirit of helpfulness and professionalism. The fast-paced nature of stadium work means you’ll need to be quick on your feet, both physically and mentally, ready to adapt to changing situations and unexpected demands. If you enjoy being part of a dynamic team, love the buzz of live entertainment, and are committed to delivering exceptional service that makes a real difference to people’s day, then this opportunity at Hiring.zycto is perfect for you. We value individuals who are reliable, adaptable, and genuinely enjoy helping people create lasting memories. This position offers a unique chance to contribute directly to the success of Toronto’s premier events, fostering an atmosphere where everyone feels welcome and valued.
