Job Description

Are you a compassionate, organized individual with a genuine love for animals? Hiring.zycto, a leading veterinary clinic in Toronto, is seeking a dedicated Veterinary Receptionist to join our bustling team. This is an incredible entry-level opportunity for someone looking to launch their career in animal healthcare, even without prior experience in a veterinary setting. We believe in nurturing talent and providing comprehensive training to ensure your success. As the first point of contact for our clients, you are the welcoming face and voice of our clinic, playing a pivotal role in creating a positive and comforting experience for both pets and their owners.

We recognize that enthusiasm and a caring heart are just as important as experience, which is why we’re excited to offer this role to individuals eager to learn and grow within the veterinary field. You will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth daily operation of our front office, handling a diverse range of tasks that keep our clinic running efficiently. From the moment a client calls or walks through our doors, your friendly and professional demeanor will set the tone for their visit. You’ll become proficient in our clinic’s software, manage appointment bookings, assist with patient check-ins and check-outs, and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately. Furthermore, you will be responsible for explaining basic veterinary procedures, providing information on preventative care, and sometimes offering comfort to anxious pet owners. We’ll provide all the necessary training on our systems, medical terminology, and client communication protocols. This position requires someone who is adaptable, proactive, and genuinely enjoys interacting with both people and animals. It’s a dynamic role where no two days are exactly alike, offering continuous learning and the satisfaction of knowing you contribute directly to the well-being of countless pets. Join us and discover a career where compassion meets professionalism, and where your dedication helps strengthen the human-animal bond.
